We’re on a mission to make sure everyone has access to the law.

Lawhive is an online platform for consumers and small businesses to get legal help for a fraction of the cost of a law firm. Our platform combines regulated human lawyers collaborating alongside the world’s first AI lawyer specifically built for consumer legal work.

Equal access to the law is one of the biggest and most pressing unsolved problems in society today. We’re passionate about levelling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society.

Our AI lawyer Lawrence is built on top of our own fine tuned LLM and recently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our world-class sales team.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be the first point of contact for lawyers and solicitors signing up to the Lawhive platform, and will be responsible for sourcing, vetting and securing initial meetings with prospects. You'll work closely with the rest of the sales team to ensure the smooth handover of prospects and increase the likelihood of successful pitches.

As a founding SDR, you will be responsible for driving the inbound and outbound lead generation function to shape future growth.

What the job involves

    • Generating a prospecting list that fits our ideal persona using accurate contact data
    • Booking outbound meetings with lawyers and solicitors through cold calls, emails and social outreach.
    • Communicating our value proposition to the market.
    • Gathering data and reacting quickly to signs of intent from prospects.
    • Carrying out initial screening to ensure they meet qualifying criteria.
    • Keeping prospects engaged between the initial call and pitch with the Account Manager.
    • Following up and engaging with prospects who have submitted inbound enquiries to Lawhive.
    • Delivering relevant marketing content to prospects.
    • Following up on existing contacts in our CRM to identify new potential needs.
    • Supporting the Account Managers with sales admin where needed.
    • Providing feedback to the team and sharing insights to improve our lawyer acquisition engine.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an SDR in a high-performing B2B sales team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with questions and sales objections.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of legal terminology and processes is a plus.
