As a Sales Development Representative at Hitachi Digital Services, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our highly successful Go To Market teams and expand and hone your sales & business development skills. Your focus will be on setting up and managing sales cadences for lead generation activities (cold calling, outreach, setting up meetings, attending events, etc.) but you will also have the opportunity to own and run smaller deals.

What you'll do:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through research, outreach, and engagement.
  • Prospecting: Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Initiate contact with prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce Hitachi Digital Services and our solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update Salesforce CRM system with accurate and detailed information on prospects and leads.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies and ensure a seamless hand-off of qualified leads.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively position our offerings.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts and identify areas for improvement.


What you'll bring:

  • 2-3 years B2B technology sales/business development experience prospecting into medium-to-large enterprises.
  • Comfortable at initiating phone conversations with executives, navigating questions, and overcoming objections.
  • A strong interest in digital transformation technologies & solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and other sales tools.
