What will I be doing:

In support of our continued growth, Darktrace is looking for smart, coachable and ambitious teammates to join our Sales Development Academy. In this role, you will attend courses to learn Cybersecurity 101, Cold Calling 101, and Sales Development 101, helping you establish the skills needed to grow Darktrace’s business. You’ll be reaching out to potential new customers, pitching Darktrace as a solution to their cybersecurity needs.

This role is based out of our London office, with expected attendance of 3 days a week.

In this role you'll be engaging with potential new customers and representing Darktrace across your region, identifying new business opportunities for the Sales team. You'll also be: 

  • Researching companies in order to “reach out with purpose”, generating warm conversations to introduce Darktrace technology,
  • Identifying key decision makers for cold calling, event recruitment and high-level prospecting activities,
  • Articulating Darktrace’s value and helping the customers understand how we can protect their business’s key assets from cyber-attacks and data leaks,
  • Earning trust and developing relationships with customers by displaying knowledge, professionalism and relevance to business issues,
  • Working closely with Marketing and Sales to methodically run sales campaigns and engage warm inbound marketing leads,
  • Booking “Discovery Meetings” for your Sales teammates, and consistently achieving quarterly and annual KPIs,
  • Writing succinct emails and LinkedIn messages to highlight why someone should learn more about Darktrace,
  • Contributing to the learning/development of yourself, as well as your teammates, sharing best practices, tips/tricks, and ideas.

What experience do I need:

Firstly, this is a Danish/English speaking role, so fluency in both languages is essential. We welcome applications from candidates who come with minimum 6 months previous outbound sales experience. You'll also: 

  • Be ambitious and driven, keen to work in a target driven environment,
  • Have clear communication skills, you'll be able to have compelling conversations with a variety of individuals,
  • Be naturally resilient and tenacious, you will be able to bounce back and carry on.
