We're looking for a driven and experienced Sales Development Manager to join Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions in the UK. This is more than a sales role - it's a leadership opportunity. You'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, building and guiding a high-performing SDR team while personally driving pipeline development and revenue generation across the region.
This is a remote role, based in the United Kingdom. Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK - we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
The Opportunity
As Sales Development Manager at Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, you'll lead from the front. You'll shape the strategy, coach the team, and help customers understand the transformative power of LTE and 5G. Your fingerprints will be all over our growth - from the first conversation to a closed deal.
What You'll Do
Lead & Develop the Team
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives, fostering a culture of performance, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear targets, provide regular coaching, and hold the team accountable to hitting and exceeding goals
  • Create a playbook for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management that scales across the team

Drive Revenue & Pipeline
  • Own the overall SDR pipeline, ensuring a consistent and healthy flow of qualified opportunities into the sales funnel
  • Partner closely with Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Marketing to align strategy, messaging, and go-to-market activity
  • Personally engage in prospecting and high-value customer conversations where needed, leading by example

Build the Strategy
  • Develop and execute creative, targeted prospecting approaches tailored to the UK and European markets
  • Bring market intelligence and customer insights back to Sales and Marketing to inform campaigns and positioning
  • Track, analyse, and report on team KPIs, pipeline health, and campaign performance - turning data into action

Represent Ericsson with Confidence
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that clearly articulate how our solutions solve real business challenges
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, earning trust at every touchpoint
  • Handle objections with confidence and navigate complex conversations with ease

What You'll Bring
Leadership & Experience
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership, team lead, or management role - ideally within B2B technology, telecoms, or enterprise solutions
  • A track record of building, coaching, and motivating high-performing SDR or inside sales teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think both strategically and hands-on

Skills & Mindset
  • Consultative approach - you ask the right questions, listen deeply, and connect solutions to real customer needs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; you command a room and engage prospects with conviction
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, multiple campaigns, and a fast-moving pipeline
  • Resilient, ambitious, and energised by targets - you bring grit and a "lead from the front" mentality
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is strongly preferred

Other
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred - or equivalent professional experience

Language Requirements
  • English fluency is essential - strong written and verbal communication skills are a core requirement of this role
  • German language skills are highly desirable - candidates with professional-level German will have a distinct advantage given our European market focus
