Life. Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.

We’re investing in the future of post-operative therapy, and this is your chance to be part of it! As a Sales Associate covering the South Yorkshire and Nottingham territory, you’ll help shape how we deliver surgical intervention products to patients. If you're looking to launch your med-tech career, this is the perfect opportunity to join a business that’s transforming and growing, with clear paths for development and progression.

This role plays a vital part in improving recovery journeys for patients following surgery. By delivering our post-operative therapy products into clinical settings, you’ll help healthcare professionals achieve better outcomes, reduce complications and support faster healing. You’ll be a key link between innovation and patient care.

What will you be doing?

As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Smith+Nephew in South Yorkshire and Nottingham hospitals, championing our post-op therapy range across wards, theatres, clinics, and outpatient settings. You’ll deliver hands-on training and technical support, ensuring high user competence and pathway adherence. You’ll spot new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key clinical teams, and manage stock, usage, and consignment assets. You’ll collaborate across business units to maximise cross-portfolio sales, support fleet management, and keep your finger on the pulse of market trends and competitor activity. Every day, you’ll drive impact, reporting progress and ensuring customers receive first-class service at every touchpoint.

Please note this role requires the ability to travel daily within the set geography with up to 90% of your time spent in the field.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in this role means being proactive, knowledgeable and customer-focused. You’ll thrive if you:

  • Have a degree-level education in a science-based subject or equivalent experience
  • Are confident building relationships and managing stakeholders across healthcare settings
  • Can plan and organise your territory with precision and agility
  • Are comfortable with extensive travel and long-distance driving.
