Job Description:

About the Role

We are building the EMEA robotics business from the front line, and we need a motivated individual contributor to drive it. This is not a farming role for an existing account list - it is a hunting and market-shaping role. You will own the go-to-market strategy for robotics and physical AI across EMEA, uncover and open net-new opportunities and accounts, and orchestrate an ecosystem of hardware vendors, ODMs, OEMs, ISVs, and system integrators into winning solutions.

You will be equally comfortable in a whiteboard architecture discussion with an engineering team and in a boardroom presentation to a customer's executives. You are deeply passionate about robotics and physical AI, technically fluent, commercially sharp, and already wired into the EMEA ecosystem. You bring your own network and the credibility to activate it from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute the EMEA go-to-market strategy for robotics and physical AI - from market segmentation and value proposition through to pipeline and revenue.

  • Uncover new opportunities and accounts through disciplined prospecting, market analysis, and competitive intelligence - creating demand where none exists yet.

  • Build and orchestrate the partner ecosystem: hardware vendors, ODMs, OEMs, ISVs, and solution partners - assembling end-to-end solutions and joint go-to-market motions.

  • Lead complex programs and multi-stakeholder engagements from first contact through technical validation, commercial negotiation, and close.

  • Drive business development and marketing initiatives - events, campaigns, demand generation, thought leadership - in partnership with marketing and technical teams.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, converting customer engineering requirements into clear business and commercial outcomes.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, customer executive briefings, and partner forums across the region.

Note: This is a commissioned sales position and will require business travel.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications (all required)

  • 10+ years in sales, business development, and strategic partner alliances roles across the tech industry.

  • 5+ years of directly relevant robotics experience - in business development, sales, solutions, or product roles within robotics, automation, or physical AI. General tech sales without robotics depth will not qualify.

  • Demonstrable technical fluency in robotics/physical AI systems - able to hold your own on architecture, hardware, sensors, compute, and software stacks with engineering audiences.

  • Hands-on experience with AI software architectures in robotics - including perception (vision), motion planning and control, and integration of AI models into real-world robotic systems and software stacks.

  • Proven ecosystem connectivity across hardware, ODM, OEM, ISV, and integration partners - with a verifiable personal network in EMEA you can activate immediately.

  • Track record of large, complex programs - multi-stakeholder, long-cycle, high-value designs, or initiatives you personally led to closure.

  • Experience building and executing go-to-market plans and opening net-new accounts and opportunities.

  • Experience executing marketing and business development initiatives (events, campaigns, demand generation).

  • Experience operating inside a corporation - navigating matrixed organizations, internal stakeholders, and structured processes.

  • Fluent in English plus native German speaker or German at C1 level or higher (fluent, professional working proficiency).

  • Exceptional communicator - executive presence in front of both C-level customers and technical teams.

  • Genuine passion for technology - robotics and physical AI in particular.

  • Willingness and ability to travel across EMEA, up to 25 per cent of the time, for customer meetings, partner visits, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple EMEA sub-regions and additional language proficiency.

  • Familiarity with edge computing, AI infrastructure, and semiconductor/compute platforms underpinning robotics.

  • Prior experience standing up a new business, region, or product line from early stage.

  • Established relationships with industrial and manufacturing end-customers deploying robotics at scale.

  • Experience with both startup/scale-up agility and large-enterprise.
