What You’ll Do:

Account Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the rail industry, ensuring alignment with their digital transformation objectives.

Business Development: identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our footprint in the UK rail market.

Solution Selling: collaborate with technical and project teams to develop tailored digital solutions that address client needs.

Revenue Growth: develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.

Stakeholder Engagement: act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.

Market Analysis: stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging digital technologies relevant to rail.


Reporting Duties:

  • Report directly to the Senior Director of IoT Practice – Rail, providing regular updates on sales performance, client developments, and market opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for executive review.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the rail and digital sectors.
  • A solid understanding of digital technologies, including IoT, AI, data analytics, and automation, and their applications in the railway industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
