We are looking for:

You are a resourceful, competitive, process-focused account executive with at least 8 years of software sales experience in process industries (ideally refining and chemicals industry/production). You have a strong understanding of petrochemical processes and know the common challenges with maximizing production and pushing operations. You are excited to transform the way customers think about process optimization and believe the process industries are ripe for disruption by machine learning technology of the same caliber as Google and Facebook. 

You excel at value selling, complex sales, and are a proven closer.  You have deep experience introducing new products to the market, building pipeline, winning new business, and expanding existing accounts. 

You are an inspiring presenter, extremely collaborative, and able to communicate business value and complex technologies to a broad range of customer personas.  You are self-motivated, curious, and eager to make an impact on the industry and Imubit.


In this position, you will:

  • Own a sales territory and quota and deliver predictable results.
  • Build accurate forecasts and robust account plans that align with Imubit’s sales process and go-to-market strategy.
  • Manage all opportunity and account phases, including pipeline generation, technical and economic validation, proposals, closing, pilots, and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with Imubit’s process experts in mapping and prioritizing optimization opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, and build relationships with relevant influencers and decision-makers.
  • Understand the uniqueness of Imubit’s technology, product, and service model and communicate this persuasively to stakeholders.
  • Grow to be the client’s trusted advisor for next-generation process optimization.
  • Obsess about client satisfaction and ROI maximization.
  • Present and speak at industry conferences.


Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management preferred


Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in selling subscription bases software and services
  • Experience selling software and/or data-related products into industrials segments
  • Experience working at companies that sell software into the industrial sector, specifically the refining and chemicals industry
  • Experience selling 6-figure accounts preferably up to 8 figures
  • German and English language proficiency


Skills & Abilities:

  • You have a “rolodex” of people at the ready and a demonstrated ability to build new relationships rapidly and maintain them long-term across a wide range of people (e.g. from C-Suite to process engineer).
  • A natural interest and inclination to learn technical concepts
