Job Summary:
Reporting to the Country Manager, UK, the Forbury Account Executive is passionate about PropTech and strategic market growth, can identify and convert prospective Clients and will grow recurring revenue by expanding Forbury’s market reach within the SMB Commercial Real Estate Owner and Advisory segments. 

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is excited by the prospect of working for a high-growth SaaS business, within the umbrella of an established CRE software and service provider. Background: 
Forbury serves the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Market with software to conduct investment-grade financial analysis. Forbury is a dynamic market-leader in Australia and New Zealand, where the business was founded over a decade ago. The UK business has been built over the past three years and having hurdled the early-stage obstacles is rapidly gaining ground. Last year saw 370% revenue growth and we are on track to double revenue this year with some of the biggest names in CRE now either as customers or in our pipeline. 

All of this culminated in the acquisition of Forbury in December 2023 by Altus Group, this enhanced the ability for Forbury products to continue to evolve and reach more customers, leveraging the market reach and resources of Altus Group to accelerate growth in all markets. 


Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive the growth of the UK and European markets for Forbury, along with other Altus Group products and services. 
  • With the support of the Country Manager and Sales Lead, be responsible for full-cycle outbound business development activity to create momentum with our target market. 
  • Take qualified SMB leads through the sales process including software demonstrations, setting up and managing trials and issuing proposals.
  • Work with colleagues in sales, product, delivery, marketing, and customer success to overcome objections and achieve Sales outcomes.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities in accounts you have won.
  • Use your expertise to contribute suggestions to improve sales processes, offer insights at monthly reviews and provide constructive feedback to various internal teams where appropriate to improve Client outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sales or partnerships capacity. A bonus if this has been in Commercial Real Estate. 
  • Experience selling or buying SaaS or B2B software, with an appreciation of the complexities involved. 
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Evidenced ability to pick up new concepts and understand them quickly. 
  • High EQ, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships across a variety of stakeholders. 
  • Our product is technical and financial in nature, and so a reasonable level of financial literacy would be a bonus.
