The Risk Reporting Lead is responsible for the extraction, analysis and collation of risk data to deliver clear, insightful and actionable risk reporting as well as planning and driving input to Board, Executive and Committee reports.

The role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to craft meaningful narrative across a range of recipients. Reporting includes monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as well as addressing adhoc requests from the Risk Department and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Applies professional judgement to produce risk-based first-line reports (monthly, quarterly, etc.) using established templates and methodologies, clearly articulating key messages through concise data and supporting narrative.
  • The role’s value is in connecting qualitative & quantitative data to tell a coherent, organisation-wide risk story.
  • Manage timely data extraction, including inputs from other areas of the business when required. Collate and analyse the data to provide insights to recipients.
  • Prepare drafts of risk reports that ultimately support business decisions at many levels (Board, Executive, Lead, etc).
  • Participate in the preparation of presentations, including Board, Executive, etc. When data will be shared externally abide by Policies to ensure it is appropraitely shared and labelled.
  • Identify and communicate issues that arise during reporting, with a view to lead the continuous improvement of Risk Reporting.
  • Coordinate the end to end reporting cycles of Risk Department activity in areas such as Extreme Risk, Emerging Risk and Top Risk.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge and understanding of key business drivers and strategy.
  • As a leader, you will oversee the work of other team members and review for quality, timeliness, accuracy.
