Job Description

  • Flexible working - We are guided by our client work and needs; however, you have autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance.
  • We operate in a hybrid working environment where we come into a client site or office, at least 2-3 days per week.
  • This role will be aligned to our London Victoria office.

Our Risk & Regulation team helps senior risk leaders face their biggest challenges. We work across banking, insurance and wealth and asset management to support firms to enhance their approach to risk management with a particular focus on non-financial risk. You will work alongside industry leaders in the Risk & Regulation advisory space. Our team comprises a diverse group of experts with extensive experience across the broad spectrum of Risk Management. This includes professionals with backgrounds as former regulators, members of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), and leaders from Retail Banks, Building Societies, Investment Banks, Insurance Firms, Payment Firms, and Industry Bodies, as well as those with significant consultancy expertise.

Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in financial services (preferably in a risk, compliance or transformation role).
  • Experience of working directly with stakeholders outside of your team to achieve objectives.
  • A desire to become an expert in risk and regulation and enthusiasm to apply this to delivery and transformational projects.
  • You may also have:

  • An understanding of how change is delivered in a regulatory context
  • Experience of coordinating activities across multiple teams, including across the three lines of defence
  • Knowledge of core transformation steps and tools used in transformation (risk logs, project status reports, project planning)
  • Candidates who have completed a graduate rotation scheme in Banking, Insurance or Financial Services Consulting are particularly encouraged to apply.
