We have an exciting opportunity to join our AML Compliance team in Malta and are currently looking for a Risk Analyst.
As a Risk Analyst at VGW, you will support the MLRO and Risk team in assessing and mitigating money laundering and financial terrorism risks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the MLRO in managing and mitigating the risk of money laundering and financial terrorism.
- Risk-assess customers based on internal policies and procedures.
- Assist the Risk Team with conducting ongoing due diligence checks and determining the nature and level of due diligence required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
- Assist the Risk Team in providing accurate guidance and support in relation to AML on an ad hoc basis in a timely manner.
- Conduct additional reviews on transactional history and client profile to determine the applicable course of action.
- Keep up to date with money laundering and terrorism financing issues, including policies, regulations, industry best practices.
What you will bring to the role:
- At least 3+ years experience in an AML function.
- Comprehensive understanding of the AML regulations and laws in the gaming industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide advice on compliance matters to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
