💻 Role

The Categories and Expansion (CatEx) team at Whatnot is responsible for the expansion of our categories and the continued growth of sellers and buyers on the platform. This role sits on our international Revenue Operations team, which supports our Launch (new categories), Sales (mature categories) and nascent Post Sales teams across all international markets. Categories and Expansion is your “client” and you are responsible for enabling the best, fastest ways to support them in bringing in new sellers. 

Responsibilities

  • Scale up our nascent Lead Generation function to build a best-in-class Lead Generation system for our Launch and Sales Teams globally, collaborating closely with our US counterparts 
  • Analyze the data on effectiveness of BPO & other lead generation sources looking at leads generated, rejection rate, and other metrics  and collaborate on strategies to enhance the quality of their work
  • Collaborate closely with CatEx members to relay feedback and address any emerging issues around Leads
  • Support RevOps team in forecasting, in-depth analyses, and input from RevOps, Sales leadership and Finance to build sales models and inform team goals
  • Support driving the CatEx planning cycle by setting and tracking targets across various Sales & Launch teams that align with growth strategy and goals
  • Support broader RevOps needs such as conducting strategic analyses, building performance monitoring, and taking on special projects
  • Take on key strategic and operational special projects that move the business forward and help us scale
  • Support CatEx leaders in identifying and presenting data & insights
  • Work closely with the CatEx launch, category, and central ops functions to ensure smooth operation and clear division of responsibility

Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of either our Berlin, Germany or London, UK hub.

As our next Revenue Operations Associate you should have 3+ years of experience in consulting or high growth startups, plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • You love getting in the weeds and down to go deep with the data; (devil is in the details in this role!)
  • SQL & Excel experience
  • You have a proven track record of solving problems using data
  • You’re energised by optimising processes & improving operations
  • You have a low ego - happy to do anything it takes to help us grow. (We are on an international rocketship!) 
  • You can move remarkably fast with little structure or oversight
  • You’re able to ruthlessly prioritise asks from 20+ stakeholders and focus on impact on the business

🙏 Nice to Have

  • Experience working on a marketplace or a two-sided platform
  • Experience working with Salesforce (or a strong desire to learn)
  • Experience or passion for buying and selling in online marketplace communities
  • Experience working for or around a sales team previously 
  • Executive communication skills; you can show and explain insights to a variety of audience types
  • European languages

💰Compensation

€75,000/year to €90,000/year + benefits + equity.

The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
