  • Pernod Ricard UK, which markets, sells and distributes our products in the UK and also drives the global development of our iconic Gin brands through The Gin Hub
  • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.
  • The Absolut Group, the brand owner of our global white spirits portfolio, whose Gin brand unit and Business Acceleration team sit in London.

Your new team

This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. As the world’s 2nd largest spirits market, the UK is a key location for our company. Since 2017 PRUK has also hosted The Gin Hub, the team responsible for managing the Group’s unrivalled portfolio of ‘Premium+’ International Gins globally.

Your unique contribution

  • Own the promotions and mix levers of the PRUK RGM roadmap
  • UK business owner of Vista Rev Up, Pernod Ricard’s promotional optimisation capability
  • Ensure promo optimisation (Past Event and Forward Looking) is at the forefront of Commercial rhythms and planning exercises. Evolve processes and capabilities to maximise impact
  • Own and evolve PRUK’s promotional evaluation & optimisation reporting, working in collaboration with commercial to derive ‘one version of the truth’ actionable insights, and share with all key stakeholders
  • Super user of the Vista Rev Up tool, ensuring continuous data quality & successful implementation of new releases/updates in conjunction with IT and the HQ. UK representative in global Vista community
  • Ensure all PRUK business planning processes (e.g. annual planning, JBPs etc.) derive full value from promotional insights and planning capabilities. Own the process to define clear promotional guidelines and ‘golden rules’ that deliver brand/business strategy, and drive integration into commercial plans to improve critical KPIs e.g. promotional ROI and incremental margin
  • Lead on the ‘Mix’ RGM lever, analysing trends and identifying opportunities to drive incremental value

Who you’ll be working with

  • Works closely with the Lead Revenue Growth Manager and Revenue Growth Executive to deliver the PRUK RGM roadmap
  • Collaborate with the RGM Executive where additional resource is required e.g. promo reporting. Help to develop the RGM Executive’s skills by delegating tasks appropriately and providing coaching where needed
  • Close collaboration with all teams involved in the development and deployment of promotional plans, particularly the off trade commercial team, off trade commercial analysts, key brand teams and customer marketing
  • Regular engagement with the RGM SteerCo (Commercial Director, Strategy & Transformation Director, Off Trade Channel Director and FP&A Director)
  • Ongoing relationship with IT, especially for Vista data management and tool continuity
  • Key UK contact for Pernod Ricard HQ on Vista Rev Up

Your blend of talent

You will have:

  • An analytical approach and you’re able to turn complex insight into clear actions. You should be comfortable with large data sets, have strong Excel skills and an aptitude for mastering new tech and systems
  • You have experience using complex systems, managing data integrity, and acting as a super user
  • The ability to communicate complex dynamics effectively to audiences that have varying levels of RGM understanding. You can manage multiple stakeholders through complex decisions and sometimes conflicting objectives
  • The ability to effectively prioritise your efforts in order deliver on the biggest opportunities
  • A strong grounding in Revenue Growth Management and/or a background in Commercial Account Management or Commercial Finance
