About the team
The Strategy and Transformation consolidates several specialist functions including Revenue Growth Management, Consumer Insights & Effectiveness, Category Development and the Transformation Office
Each specialism is heavily embedded into the functional teams of the organisation but simultaneously acts as one integrated team to drive strategy and transformation into the business.
The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team is focused on delivering sustainable and profitable business growth through the key levers of Promotional Optimisation, Pricing, Mix, Trade Terms and Capabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead RGM for the UK business, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category & Insights and Supply Chain
- Accountable for PRUK Price Increase processes, including alignment on key objectives, deliverables, stakeholder management and process optimisation
- Leverage all capabilities including proprietary Pernod Ricard TPO ‘Vista Rev-Up’ in the deployment of effective promotional analysis, reporting and optimisation, maximising incremental value and ROI in an agile manner
- Establish and execute PRUK’s Trade Terms strategy, maximising ROI and minimising consolidation risks through structured pricing and terms architecture, alignment and conditionality
- Seek out and promote opportunities to drive Mix through innovation, PPA, customer and channel optimisation
- Deliver and constantly evolve effective and accurate reporting that helps the business identify and act on key RGM opportunities and risks
- Lead P&L creation for NPD, working closely with Brand, Commercial and Finance to ensure innovations have coherent RGM strategies offering viable and sustainable scale
- Member of the Strategy & Transformation Leadership Team. Represent RGM in key forums such as Business Performance Steering, Sales and Marketing forum, S&OP & Innovation IBP
- Management of a RGM Manager and RGM Executive
- Represent the UK in global RGM leadership community
Key Relationships
Close working relationship with Commercial, Finance and Marketing in particular, alongside the wider Strategy and Transformation Team, HQ RGM Centre of Excellence, Northern Europe RGM Leads, and relevant external parties
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you have:
- High commercial acumen and analytical strength, with an excellent understanding of the P&L and key RGM levers to drive both top and bottom line growth.
- Strong commercial track record in Revenue Management, Sales or Strategy
- Strategic thinking with a broad enterprise mindset
- Confident communicator & influencer with experience leading cross-functional decisions.
- Curiosity and growth mindset to try new approaches and refine processes
- Ability to distil information and uncover insights from a variety of sources.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and coach teams.
- Experience working with POS, panel, shopper and TPO (Trade Promotion Optimization) tools. Strong IT skills, esp. in Excel
- Experience leading a structured pricing & trade terms programme strongly beneficial
