WisdomTree is hiring an Research specialist within our European Research Team based in London or Munich.
This candidate will play a key role in supporting the WisdomTree Product range through Research, Content and Client interactions, particularly in German Speaking Region. This candidate will be instrumental in supporting sales by explaining the value proposition of our existing strategies, by creating innovative and engaging content to support our investors accomplish their investment goals and, by developing new investment strategies
Responsibilities
- Support sales efforts across asset classes through Content, custom analysis and direct client interaction, with a particular focus on German Speaking Region
- Develop distribution-oriented research across asset classes, particularly in a manner that relates to supporting and explaining the value proposition of our existing strategies.
- Analytical assessments of different portfolios and how those may translate to the realization of different types of investment goals.
- Act as Product Specialist for a part of WisdomTree product range
- Propose and develop new, innovative investment strategies to be launch as an ETF
- Deliver and build client-facing communications and presentations
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a research role in finance
- Master’s degree in economics or a quantitative discipline.
- Fluent German is essential
- Comprehensive understanding of financial mathematics and derivatives
- Excellent quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is strongly preferred
- Familiarity of various industry tools (i.e. Bloomberg, Morningstar)
