Research Specialist - Web2 Startups & Vibe Coding

Seedify is a leading cryptocurrency launchpad platform dedicated to fostering innovation and success in the Web3 space. Our mission is to identify and assist promising teams and projects and offer outstanding returns to our investor base.As the industry evolves, we’re expanding our reach to identify high-potential Web2 startup teams—especially those aligned with emerging narratives such as Vibe Coding—to support their transition into the Web3 space.

Role :
We are looking for a driven and curious Research Specialist to lead our efforts in scouting and qualifying Web2 startups with strong creative and technical DNA for potential onboarding into Seedify’s ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with strong research instincts, a pulse on developer subcultures, and the ability to think laterally about emerging movements like Vibe Coding, AI x creativity, builder culture, and more.
You’ll operate under clear KPIs and work closely with our Reachout and Onboarding teams to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze research reports, whitepapers, and market data to extract meaningful insights.
Conduct ongoing research across platforms like Product Hunt, GitHub, Twitter, Discord, indie dev forums, and hackathon sites to identify promising Web2 projects and founders.
Maintain a steady weekly pipeline of qualified Web2 startup leads based on quality and narrative fit (e.g., vibe coding, indie hacking, AI tooling, onchain UX, etc.).
Track early user traction, team quality, design/development philosophy, and alignment with Web3 opportunities.
Analyze each lead’s strengths, needs, and transition potential into tokenized ecosystems or on-chain products.
Identify subcultures and micro-trends across developer communities and stay alert to new narrative shifts.
Collaborate with the outreach and incubation teams to align research with onboarding priorities.
Meet weekly KPIs related to lead volume, quality rating, and vertical diversity.

What We’re Looking For:

2 year prior experience in tech/startup research, early-stage scouting, venture capital, or related roles.
Awareness of current Web2 developer trends and subcultures (e.g., Vercel/Next.js ecosystem, indie devs, hackathon teams, solopreneurs).
Curiosity and taste for unconventional project discovery, not just analytics but intuition for what’s culturally relevant.
Familiarity with Web3 concepts (you don’t need to be an expert, but some foundational knowledge is important).
Strong written skills, can synthesize findings into clear, insight-rich summaries.
Ability to manage your own pipeline and maintain output consistency.
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

Background in product research, venture scouting, developer community management, or technical recruiting.
Use of tools like Twitter search, Notion, Jira, Slack, Product Hunt, GitHub, or F6S.
Experience contributing to or managing discovery pipelines.
Comfort using AI tools for productivity and research.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.
Familiarity with research tools and platforms like Dune Analytics.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

What We Offer:

Opportunities for professional development and growth.
Competitive salary with KPI-based performance incentives.
Fully remote work.
High agency and impact in shaping our builder onboarding pipeline.
Exposure to leading narratives and trend-setting projects in Web3.
A collaborative team environment, where your work drives real results.
