Grade UE06: £34,610 - £39,906 per annum, pro rata

The Opportunity:

This role supports the delivery of high-quality research within Medical Education, on the subject of compassion and empathy, contributing to the work of the research or project team through a range of defined research activities. Specific responsibilities will be determined by the requirements of the project and project lead.

This post is part-time (28 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

Edinburgh Medical School is one of six schools within the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. As a leader in biomedical and medical education, the School aims to provide an exceptional educational experience and equip the next generation of scientists and doctors with the tools they need to address the world’s scientific and medical challenges. The School delivers undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for over 6,000 students, in addition to conducting pedagogical research. Edinburgh Medical School coordinates the administration and delivery of a number of on campus and online degree programmes including undergraduate medicine (MBChB), undergraduate degrees in biomedical sciences, and a wide variety of postgraduate taught programmes in biomedical, clinical and population health sciences.
