Research Analyst
The M&G plc Treasury & Investment Office (T&IO) is responsible for the management of Prudential UK's With-Profits, Annuity and Unit-Linked funds, with more than £150bn of funds under management. T&IO works closely with the various asset management businesses within the M&G plc Group, and other external managers, to structure multi-asset portfolios aligned with the investment objectives of our clients.
The modelling sub-team sits within LTIS. The team is responsible for the running and development of our in-house asset model. The team also derives the parameters for the model based on the financial market data. Part of your role will be assisting in analysis of the market data. The asset model produces, thousands of possible future outcomes for a given period of time for different asset classes, such as equities and bonds. The outputs from the model are used by different departments within M&G for a range of purposes, such as making investment decisions.
As part of the LTIS team you will also have the opportunities to learn more about the financial market and business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting in the analysis market data inputs
· Be involved in the running of the model and checking the outputs
· Help the team with scheduling of the work. This involves gathering the requests from various teams in other departments
· Help the team in answering queries on data and outputs
· Provide ad hoc support to wider team as and when required
· You will also get exposure to a number of different projects and initiatives within the team, and the chance to participate and contribute in regular team meetings

· Prior industry experience, gained within an asset manager, consultancy or insurance company
