We are seeking a Reporting Lead (Deputy) to support the delivery of high-quality, end-to-end reporting across a major, nationally significant infrastructure programme within the energy sector. This role is critical to ensuring that data captured across the programme is governed, validated, and transformed into clear, trusted reporting outputs that support effective decision-making.
The successful candidate will be a positive, solutions-driven professional who understands reporting as a full lifecycle—from data capture and controls through to executive-level reporting—rather than just the final outputs.

🔹 You'll
End-to-End Reporting Delivery
Support the design and delivery of end-to-end reporting processes within a client organisation, from data capture and governance through to reporting outputs.
Play a key role in month-end reporting cycles, ensuring data quality, completeness, and timely delivery in line with client expectations.
Ensure reporting outputs are consistent, traceable, and aligned to agreed standards and controls.
Data Governance & Quality
Work with client teams to support effective data capture, validation, and governance practices.
Help establish and embed clear data definitions, ownership, and quality controls across reporting processes.
Proactively identify data quality or process issues and work collaboratively with client stakeholders to resolve them.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Operate effectively within a client-facing environment, building strong working relationships and trust.
Act as an interface between business, delivery, and technical teams, able to converse confidently with technical specialists without requiring deep platform expertise.
Support senior client stakeholders by providing insight, analysis, and clear narratives behind the data.
Continuous Improvement & Consultancy Mindset
Bring a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach, focused on improving reporting processes rather than simply highlighting issues.
Identify opportunities to streamline, standardise, or improve reporting within the client’s existing tools and processes.
Represent the consultancy professionally, upholding high standards of delivery and collaboration.
🔹 We’re looking for:
Essential
Strong experience in end-to-end reporting, including data capture, governance, validation, and reporting outputs.
Hands-on involvement in month-end reporting data processes.
Experience working in large, complex programmes or projects, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or other regulated environments.
Comfortable engaging with technical teams and translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced client environment.
Background
Suitable for a Reporting professional or Project Controls Manager (PCM) with solid exposure to reporting and month-end processes.
Detailed knowledge of data platform architecture is not required, but the ability to understand concepts and challenge intelligently is important.
