Work Culture

Role & Responsibilities:

What You Will Do *

At Raytheon UK we have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our team. We are looking for an energetic and confident person to join the team and take the lead on spares and repairs programmes, as well as support the continued growth of the business.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to global security and safety, whilst also learning and developing your own skills and knowledge. Together the Advanced Products Navigation & Timing (APNT) Team delivers a varied range of programmes, from production, development, integration, repairs, spares and support. This can be to customers directly, or through other key defence companies and Raytheon entities. The immediate role is to manage the spares and repairs programmes however comes with opportunities to be involved in a range of different programmes.

What You Will Learn:

Working within the APNT team, as part of the wider business unit, the successful candidate will execute and support a range of technically challenging programmes. Establishing and growing effective relationships with both new and existing customers is key. Success will require innovative thinking, forward planning, and an ability to react quickly to changes. As a valuable member of the APNT team, identifying and securing new opportunities and working collaboratively with the wider company.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A team player who works well with others and inspires them to follow in their example.

  • A successful track record in delivering complex programmes to different customers.

  • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Able to establish and nurture productive relationships, both internally and externally.

  • Proven ability to create and identify new opportunities for business.

  • An ability to work self-sufficiently to deliver on agreed goals
    Can anticipate problems, identify innovative and logical solutions, and then to confidently enact them.

  • An able communicator in verbal, written and presentational forms to all audiences.

  • Able to manage and work within agreed budgets and timings.

  • Willing to challenge and question. 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Established background in Aerospace and/or Defence.

  • An understanding of UK MoD, Foreign Governments and Military.

  • Experience of effective management of programmes.
