About The Role
Knight Frank is looking to hire a Renewals Negotiator to join their head office in Baker Street.
We are the world’s leading independent international property consultancy, headquartered in the UK, offering agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors. Role:
The Investment Lettings and Management department are in search of a highly skilled and motivated Renewals Negotiator to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-orientated individual with a proven background in property. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent administrative and communication skills as well as someone who is comfortable managing sensitive information in accordance with Data Protection guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly with Landlord, Tenant and our wider team in an efficient and professional manner and present information in writing and spoken to a high professional standard
- Be aware of changes in the local market and greater economy and respond effectively.
- Keeping up to date with current legislation relating to the Lettings industry
- Drafting and sending paperwork and relevant documents for a Tenancy Renewal and ensuring this is returned promptly
- Completing renewals efficiently and in a timely manner
- Amending Deposits on the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) website and in line with the Tenant fee ban
- Maintain records of Renewal status as well as up to date Right to Rent Re-Checks
- Build and maintain relationships with the clients, Tenants, team and other departments in Knight Frank
- Keeping a record of important documents and maintaining the organisation of files
- Dealing with sensitive information whilst following Data Protection guidelines
- Provide figures for monthly and or quarterly reporting for clients
- Provide market trends for Renewals
Key Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Negotiator or in a Renewals Negotiator role (minimum 1 year)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise confidentiality at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- IT proficient – experience using Word, Outlook, Excel and Qube (Aspasia)
- Strong working knowledge of tenancy and lettings legislation
- A positive, team-focused attitude
