What's exciting about the role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware Enterprise Relationship Manager to support and grow relationships with our lower-tier enterprise clients. This is a client-facing role with clear responsibility for driving value from our existing customer base through proactive account management, upselling, and cross-selling across our Boundless Payments offering. 

You’ll be responsible for developing account plans, working with our customer success to manage day-to-day client needs, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring our CRM and forecasting systems are kept accurate and up to date. 

This is an ideal role for someone early in their enterprise career who is confident, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in the dynamic world of payments. 

Key Responsibilities 

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of lower-tier enterprise clients across multiple sectors. 
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key contacts. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries, ensuring excellent service and retention. 

Growth & Commercial Development

  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your accounts. 
  • Promote the full breadth of our Boundless Payments proposition, including terminals and gateway services. 
  • Support the development and execution of strategic account plans with clear growth targets. 

Forecasting & CRM

  • Accurately forecast revenue opportunities and contribute to regular pipeline reviews. 
  • Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), tracking account health, contact details, opportunity stages, and interactions. 

Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer success, product, support, and operations) to address client needs and ensure excellent delivery. 
  • Escalate issues as needed and follow through to resolution. 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Working with customer success prepare and deliver regular account performance reviews and business updates internally and externally. 
Skills and Experience we desire
  • Proven experience in account management, customer success, or sales support, ideally within payments, fintech, or B2B technology. 
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot revenue opportunities. 
  • Confidence communicating with enterprise clients and managing multiple stakeholders. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing pipeline and CRM. 
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM tools. 
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to grow within a client-facing enterprise environment. 

Desirable Attributes 

  • Knowledge of the payment ecosystem (gateways, terminals, acquiring). 
  • Experience creating account plans or supporting enterprise sales efforts. 
  • Comfortable analysing client data and using insight to drive account growth.
