Interesting and innovative Reinsurance projects and analytics focused opportunity within the Outwards Reinsurance team at Lloyd’s where you will engage with key internal and external stakeholders on market-wide issues, driving Lloyd’s market principles and regulatory best practices. Working closely with the Head of Reinsurance and the Reinsurance Oversight Managers you will lead and deliver specialist reinsurance projects ensuring reinsurance considerations are appropriately embedded, and use your technical expertise to identify and analyse risks, trends and thematic issues arising from the Lloyd’s market’s use of reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational management of reinsurance projects
Technical validation, evaluation and analysis of outwards reinsurance information at market level
Horizon scanning, stakeholder engagement, investigation and analysis in relation to reinsurance trends and thematic issues
Evaluation of the Lloyd's reinsurance asset risk and performance under the Principles Based Oversight framework
Management of technical referrals relating to reinsurance arrangements, contract wordings and the evaluation of reinsurance counterparties.
Engagement with internal colleagues in Risk and Finance areas as well as external stakeholders including regulators and rating agencies around reinsurance risk issues, including the market response to major loss events.
Technical input to the enhancement of the data and risk analysis reporting and evaluation tools used within the team.
