A Brief Overview
To ensure UK and Continental Europe (CE) Treaty and Facultative premium accounts are administered appropriately and accurately in line with treaty specifications.
Your responsibilities will cover the UK and CE markets. Additionally, your expertise may be leveraged in other RGA entities or affiliates outside UK and CE as resources permit.
What you will do
- Ensure all business administration complies with RGA treaties, company standards, and service time requirements. For your assigned clients, provide accurate administration data for accounting records, valuation systems, and regulatory returns.
- Administer premiums for UK & CE businesses accurately and on time, including processing through RGA entities, external retrocessionaires, and the International Retro Pool.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all administration processes and procedures.
- Support or participate in audits of RGA clients.
- Collaborate with team members across UK, CE & ME Administration Operations, EMEA Finance, and Valuations to meet month-end deadlines. This includes ensuring timely and accurate data processing and assisting with policy exhibit calculations and uploads to the administration system.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests from internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or operations role.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results within agreed timelines.
- A proactive team player who can also work independently.
- Understanding of reinsurance concepts and the risk factors relevant to RGA.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly.
