Mission

The Real Estate & Workplace (REW) Facilities Site Manager will lead Databricks’ EMEA operations from our London office, overseeing sites across Paris, Munich, Stockholm, Israel, Zurich and Riyadh. You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing workplace strategies that enable Databricks’ rapid regional growth and deliver exceptional employee experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity to scale our EMEA workplace support model, strengthen key vendor partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across a growing portfolio supporting over 1,000 Bricksters — with continued expansion ahead. The role reports to the International Real Estate & Workplace Leader and may include occasional travel to regional offices.

Impact you will have

  • Deliver the best in class service for employees, customers and investors 
  • Manage support team for internal events/training/hackdays as well as company happy hours
  • Oversee front of house activities such as: security management, food and beverage programs
  • Guide all facilities and workplace operations to achieve an exceptional environment which manifests and deepens company culture in our workplaces
  • Work cross functionally with your extended International REW  team supporting projects and programs within the scope of Workplace and Real Estate Operations
  • Ensure a coverage model that supports day to day facilities requests are completed - work as a part of REW team to follow standards and key measures to ensure a consistent level of support 
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (EA’s, team leaders) and partner teams (HR, IT, Finance and property management) as well as external vendor services to ensure highest quality solutions
  • Work on special projects as a part of the global REW team
  • Help develop, improve and document consistent operational processes such as: Oversee regular office maintenance programs- janitorial, patch & paint and safety equipment etc
  • Optimize and document operational processes: OpEx, CapEx, Security and Safety Programs

Requirements

  • 8+ years management experience with responsibility for operations and service delivery
  • Experience building schedules, coverage models and working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and the ability to draft office communications
  • Proven organizational skills, managing multiple work streams and projects
  • Customer focussed attitude - ensuring consistently high quality resolutions
  • Financial and budget experience; including sourcing/procuring goods or services and following procurement best practices
  • Experience working and managing projects within a distributed, remote environment
