The Regional Sales Manager will identify and close sales opportunities in the UK, manage client relationships, and work to achieve sales objectives and client satisfaction.

Symplicity is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to take a leading role in the UK Region.
The RSM role will report directly the VP of International and reside within that region. The RSM will be charged with identifying and closing sales opportunities with the clients managed within their assigned territory, such as contract renewals, up-sells, cross-sells, etc. Additionally they will provide a high level of quality of service to our clients. They will need to demonstrate solution-selling skills and effectively manage internal relationships with the Sales and Client Services departments to ensure complete client satisfaction and meet sales objectives. We’re looking for a talented, driven individual with great energy, passion and initiative to drive awareness and new business acquisition for Symplicity’s international division. The Regional Sales Manager role focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
Responsibilities:
• Aggressively prospect, identify, qualify and develop sales pipeline
• Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
• Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
• Work closely with Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
• Sell a complete solution of software, services and support to ensure customer success
• Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, trade shows and other marketing related events
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience selling enterprise technology in a competitive market
• Experience selling into Higher Ed a plus
• Goal oriented, with a track record of overachievement
• Driven – possesses a strong desire to be successful
• Disciplined – skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities • Intelligent – possesses aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility
• Must live in territory
