Job Description

As Regional Sales Manager at Fortanix, you will be responsible for managing and prospecting into Enterprise accounts. You will be tasked with creating, developing & executing sales strategies for the assigned account base. You will be expected to deliver consistent revenue growth with new prospects & existing customers. 

As a Regional Sales Manager reporting to the VP of Sales, and you will own, drive, & be rewarded for your business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and executing a successful business plan for the region
  • Identifying high potential customers, drive complex sales cycles in net new and existing customers 
  •  Build a sustainable pipeline through new business acquisition
  • Take new and innovative solutions to markets to drive growth
  • Accurate forecasting and sales cadence 
  • 70% travel across the region (UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Benelux) 
  • End to End Sales Process. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to close to upsell.
  • Consultative Selling. Engage prospects in a consultative sales process around Fortanix as part of their core security infrastructure and operations.
  • Big Deals. Own and drive strategic sales opportunities at complex enterprise accounts, building on existing wins and pipeline.
  • Pipeline Creation. Work with marketing, strategic alliances, local resellers, and your own network to identify the best prospects, then develop and qualify your sales pipeline.
  • Technical Evaluations. Work with deep technical resources to manage successful customer evaluations and proof of concept deployments.

Requirements
  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record with consistent success in achieving sales targets in a customer acquisition business (including $1m+ ARR deals)
  • Minimum of 7 years enterprise sales experience within the IT software sales within Data Security, Cybersecurity, and/or AI  
  • Proven track record in winning new business across large enterprise customers with a hunter sales mentality, creating net new pipeline (75%) 
  • Demonstrate ability to build and executing successful individual sales plans, maintain accurate forecasting and sales cadence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in driving sales across the partner eco system (25%)
  • Experience in working within a high growth scale our/start-up organisations or in a challenger sales environment 
  • Ability to articulate the value of the solutions to C-Level Executives
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactical sales
  • Strong sales and customer relationship skills
