The Role:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will develop and lead our regional trade sales team and support with driving our business strategy for the PPG Direct Trade segment. The purpose of this role is to enhance sales, margins and market share performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a regional field-based sales team of dedicated Territory Managers, fostering strong relationships across wider PPG organisations to achieve business objectives.

  • Increase PPG sales and margins within Trade Direct, providing a total coating solution and expanding market share.

  • Enhance PPG’s presence within the Regional AC segment, offering market, opportunity and product expertise.

  • Cultivate a detailed understanding of the market segment and demonstrate associated technical expertise.

  • To work in collaboration with the Decorating Centre Network, Central Sales and Specification to leverage collaborative growth opportunities.  

Skills:

  • Degree level or equivalent with at least five years relevant sales and team leadership experience

  • Exemplary leadership skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, engage and persuade a team effectively

  • PC literate and numerate with high levels of attention to detail

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage and achieve substantial sales and margin targets

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with strong negotiation and presentation abilities
