All about the role:

This is a key role within the Kitchen Retail and Contracts Channel, accountable for the results and growth of selected national and regional housebuilder and contracts accounts. This role requires a person who can demonstrate strong sales skills, strategic thinking and able to work collaboratively within a challenging environment to ensure that the business objectives of Electrolux are met. Responsible for selected national housebuilders, and project work, the role involves setting the strategic direction for these key trade partners.

What you'll do:

  • Maintaining and developing long term customer relationships

  • Leading management of key accounts including negotiating and securing national & regional agreements

  • Responsible for the identification, acquisition, and growth of suitable regional housebuilders within a defined geographical territory

  • Ensure accurate records are made and maintained using CRM Planning activity for the week and each day to maximise effective call time and achieve activity KPI’s

  • Apply the principles of consultative selling to ensure we take a customer-centric approach to sales, with regular and meaningful telephone and email contact and face to face meetings

  • Meet and exceed business KPIs including customer acquisition, revenue and profitability goals

  • Prepare sales development programs, which are fully evaluated and agreed, thus maximizing profitability

  • Building strong industry networks to understand fully customer and competitor activity and to inform channel strategy as appropriate.

  • Build strong internal relationships to drive sales, profitability, and brand awareness activity

Qualifications:

  • Account management and business development experience

  • Experience of sales within the UK housebuilding industry is preferred

  • Excellent organisational skills and territory management with proven ability to organise own schedule and prioritise effectively

  • Proven negotiation, advisory and influencing skills

  • Good numeracy, literacy and analytical skills with a good attention to detail

  • Proactive and confident self-starter who can demonstrate initiative, with excellent communication skills

  • Persuades & engages others to deliver business results

  • Takes ownership & accountability for performance

Where you'll be:

The role requires both field-based visits and home working to ensure we meet the needs of our customers. Occasionally, you will be required to work from Luton head office for meetings and training.

Travel to events and customers businesses will also be regularly required.

The candidate must be located on or very near to the designated territory (e. g. Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham, Oxford, Leicester, Worcester)
