Position Overview

The Regional IT Manager will lead the oversight of the application portfolio and service delivery for the QuadReal Residential Property portfolio in the UK region. Acting as a strategic partner to the business, this role bridges technology and business needs by delivering innovative, secure, and efficient solutions. The position is critical in ensuring that application services align with QuadReal’s enterprise objectives while meeting the unique requirements of local teams. Combining hands-on expertise with strong leadership, the Regional IT Manager will drive the alignment of regional initiatives with global standards, ensuring compliance and supporting business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day regional application operations, ensuring alignment with QR’s enterprise standards of service and reliability.

  • Monitor and ensure system uptime, reliability, and compliance with established SLA performance targets.

  • Oversee incident response protocols and escalation management for application issues within the region and collaborate with the global team for enterprise related issues.

  • Collaborates with decision makers, system owners, and end users from all corporate levels to gather requirements, perform feasibility studies and create business cases that contribute value to QuadReal

  • Coordinate with QuadReal’s global IT teams to implement enterprise systems and technology standards across UK operations.

  • Foster a culture of customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement within

  • Implement corporate controls and compliance measures across all UK sites.

  • Collaborate with the Information Security (InfoSec) team to assess regional risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Lead or support regional technology rollouts, system upgrades and process improvements

  • Manage regional relationships with vendors, service providers and contractors ensuring performance and adherence to contracts.

  • Contribute to regional IT budgeting, forecasting, and initiatives for cost optimization.

  • Proactively identify regional technology needs and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business alignment.

  • Participate in IT governance forums and contribute insights to QuadReal’s global IT strategy.

  • Report key application metrics, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership on a regular basis.

  • Onsite IT Business Partner for UK Leadership Team.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in IT, including at least 2 years in a leadership or regional management capacity.

  • Demonstrated success in application service delivery, application management, and team leadership.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and integrations (such as Microsoft 365, ERP systems).

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes

  • Experience managing vendors and leading technology projects in a dynamic environment.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive and solutions orientated, strong ability to identify problems and deliver scalable outcomes
