About the role:

The Regional HR Director for EMEA and India will serve as the lead HR partner to our London headquarters, playing a pivotal role in shaping and driving HR strategy across our diverse and growing workforce of approximately 1400 employees. This position will oversee a team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Office Managers across key locations, including Vilnius, Bangalore, Düsseldorf, Dubai, and Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic acumen and hands-on operational HR experience, particularly within matrixed organisations undergoing transformation.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategic HR Leadership

Co-create and execute the global HR strategy, setting an implementation strategy that aligns with Euromonitor's overall business objectives across EMEA and India.

Act as the lead HR partner to the London HQ, collaborating closely with C-Suite leaders, including the CFO,  CCO, CITO, CPO (HR for HR), and SVP Research.

Provide coaching and support to elevate leadership capabilities and foster a culture of high performance.

Embed meaningful talent management practices in alignment with global frameworks 

Collaborative Team Management

Lead and develop a team of HRBPs spread across London and EMEAI countries ensuring they are equipped to provide both strategic and tactical HR support effectively.

Foster collaboration across the HR team, engaging with other regional HR Directors and specialist Centers of Excellence in Talent Management, Reward, HR operations, Talent Acquisition, CSR, and DEI to develop and implement best practices that enhance organisational effectiveness.

Leadership Development

Implement initiatives focused on enhancing leadership capabilities across all levels of management, providing coaching and resources to support managers in their development journeys.

Drive HR initiatives that support organisational change, cultural transformation, and employee engagement across the region.

Operational Excellence

Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with global HR policies and practices.

Utilise HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and enhance HR services across the region.

Co- create optimised global HR programs and Support the transformation and change management journey of continuous HR process improvement 

Operating Model Optimisation 

Conduct a comprehensive review of the current business operating model to optimise and improve efficiency. Evaluate spans and layers, costs, and overall footprint to ensure alignment with organisational goals and industry best practices.

Work collaboratively with leadership to implement changes that enhance operational effectiveness and support strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees, acting as a trusted advisor on all HR matters.

Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote HR initiatives and foster a positive organisational culture.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in progressive HR, with solid experience in a leadership role within a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution, particularly in environments undergoing transformation.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices across EMEA and India.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a hands-on approach.

  • Video Call Interview; with the CPO (explore your experience and see if there is a fit for the team and role) 
  • Face2Face Interview; visit our London office and meet the team.  (a presentation will be involved here and will be sent to you in plenty of time to prep) 
  • Final call with our CEO and CPO
