We are looking for our future Regional Business Development Senior Manager – Northern Europe & Growth Markets to join our team.

Let's talk about the role:

  • Drive sustainable, multi-year growth across Northern Europe & Growth Markets (NE&GM) by identifying, validating, and scaling new revenue pathways (markets, channels, partnerships, solutions) while strengthening core categories.
  • Proactively seek out and assess emerging opportunities aligned with NE&GM’s strategic direction, ensuring initiatives support long-term business objectives and competitive positioning.
  • The role blends market development, commercial execution, and business development (including scanning for strategic partnerships and M&A targets), converting priority opportunities into recurring revenue streams in partnership with local country teams and functional leaders.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities:

1) Growth strategy & market development

  • Build and maintain a 3-year NE&GM growth thesis covering market entries/expansions, alternative channels (e.g., retail, pharmacy, digital), and portfolio bets in line with overall strategy; refresh quarterly with data-backed hypothesis tests.
  • Size and prioritize whitespace opportunities; recommend GTM model (direct / distributor / hybrid), ramp plan, and investment priorities for each market.
  • Support the development and coordination of cross-functional business cases (Commercial, Product, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Legal), tracking time to first revenue and breakeven.

2) Partnerships, channels, and M&A scanning

  • Identify and support the structuring of strategic partnerships (e.g., telemedicine, diagnostics, pharmacies) that expand category access and patient pathways.
  • Maintain a Mergers and Acquisitions / alliances watchlist for capability or growth gaps in NE&GM; coordinate with Strategy & Corporate Development for deal thesis evaluation and execution.

3) Commercial execution & pipeline management

  • Govern distributor selection, onboarding, and performance standards in partnership with country GMs/BD leads; standardize scorecards and improvement plans.
  • Manage reporting and tracking of the new business pipeline for priority initiatives; standardise lead-to-revenue rhythms and forecasting with country teams.

4) Leadership & stakeholder influence

  • Operate as a regional integrator across multiple countries and functions.
  •  Lead through influence across virtual and cross-functional teams; coach local sales teams on opportunity qualification, business case design, and partner management.
  • Drive cross-functional project execution by actively guiding local revenue leadership teams in identifying and qualifying opportunities, supporting the development of robust business cases, and overseeing the effective management of (partnership) projects from inception to delivery.
  • Regularly engage senior executives and external stakeholders on high-visibility initiatives; influence decisions on resource allocation and policy where required.

    Let's talk about qualifications & experience:

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree (Business/Marketing/Economics or related) + 8 years relevant experience or Master’s (Business/Marketing/Economics or related) degree plus at least 5 years relevant experience
    • At least 5-8 years progressive experience in Business Development/Commercial roles, including regional/multi-country scope
    • Demonstrated success launching new markets/channels and converting BD programs into material revenue.
    • Expertise in Partnership/distributor/channel management and complex   enterprise deals.
    • Strong financial acumen (opportunity sizing, investment cases, unit economics).
    • High EQ and executive presence; influences cross functionally and across cultures.
    • Willingness to travel across NE&GM [20 %].

    Preferred

    • MBA.
    • Experience in Medical Devices/ Healthcare, Ideally in sleep & respiratory care and digital health ecosystems.
    • Exposure to M&A/alliances (sourcing, commercial diligence, integration handover).
    • Multilingual capabilities across NE&GM markets.
