The Role

As our Regional Account Manager, you’ll be the face of Conserv in the UK — helping cultural institutions protect and care for the collections that matter most. You’ll lead our sales efforts, balancing inbound enquiries with proactive outreach to museums, archives, libraries, and historic sites. This role is about building long-term relationships, guiding prospective customers through complex decisions, and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way; it’s a great fit if you can translate deep subject-matter knowledge into clear, confident recommendations. If you’re energized by connecting mission-driven organizations with tools that make their work easier, you’ll feel right at home.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Inbound & Outbound Sales – Convert inbound leads and proactively generate new business.
  • Client Education – Help prospective clients understand how our solutions compare to competitors and help them develop the business case for investing in a Conserv system.
  • Account Management – Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Travel & On-Site Visits – Meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Customer Support – Address basic product and service enquiries.
  • Competitive Analysis – Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
What You’ll Need (Required)
  • Deep understanding of the UK cultural heritage sector (ideally 4+ years of direct experience with collections)
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong competency with technology and task management
  • Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced and fully remote environment
  • Dedication to preserving cultural heritage collections
  • Embodiment of our core values: Curious, Proactive, Brave, Focused, and Optimistic

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience with budgeting processes, procurement procedures, and competitive tenders
  • Proven ability to influence superiors and advocate for change within complex organizations
Compensation
  • Base £40,000, On-target earnings £55,000
  • Car stipend / travel reimbursement
  • Paid vacation and sick leave, Employer-paid pension contributions
