Recycling Operator /Loading shovel driver
Salary: £30,475.16 per annum plus Veolia benefits and pension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week
Location: Pontypridd, Cardiff, CF37 5YL

What you'll be doing;
-
Work as part of a team in a Transfer Station, adhering to all Health and Safety guidance.

Use of a loading shovel to push waste into designated waste bays and load waste into vehicles.

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of yellow plant.

Maintaining overall cleanliness of the site.

Report all service and safety concerns.

Check equipment and mobile plant before using them.

Inspecting waste received at the Waste Transfer Station.

Complete and report the daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of the Mobile Plant.

Plant operation (where trained).
What we're looking for;

Valid Licence for Wheeled Loading shovel

A good understanding of Health & Safety
-
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
-
Ability to work well as part of a team

Other yellow plant licences would be beneficial.
