The role

At NEXT, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a Recruitment Projects Coordinator, you will play a central role in supporting our recruitment campaigns, candidate engagement, and local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across NEXT Distribution. From guiding candidates through their career journeys to building strong relationships with local schools, colleges, and community partners, the work you do provides a vital contribution to how we attract, retain, and inspire talent.

Based at our Recruitment hub in South Elmsall and working alongside our Recruitment Manager and Recruitment Projects Advisor, you’ll be a key point of contact across multiple recruitment projects.  The role is varied and ever-changing and you’ll need to be organised, flexible and a self-starter. To set you up for success, NEXT provides hands-on guidance and support from day one, giving you the tools to manage impactful projects and grow your career within our business.

What you'll take on

  • Manage the end-to-end administration of our internal Refer-a-Friend scheme, from tracking candidates and checking eligibility to processing monthly reward payments.
  • Deliver hands-on employability support, helping candidates with CV writing, interview preparation, LinkedIn training, and general career coaching.
  • Coordinate and attend school, college and outplacement events—such as mock interviews, career events and work experience days—building strong local partnerships to support long-term talent pipelining and CSR goals.
  • Lead alternative external attraction efforts, coordinating physical marketing (like local signage) and collaborating with job centres and local councils to promote open roles.
  • Deliver strategic Keep-In-Touch (KIT) communications throughout the hiring and onboarding journey to keep candidates engaged and improve early retention.
  • Create engaging social media and internal communications via Yapster, sharing vacancy updates and career tips, while supporting external social media activity alongside our Employer Branding team.
  • Support recruitment benchmarking by reviewing market data to keep our offerings competitive and compliant, while assisting the wider team with peak recruitment and ad-hoc projects.

What you'll bring

  • Practical recruitment experience, ideally in a similar role gained within an in-house or agency environment.
  • Strong IT skills with confident experience using Google Suite, alongside a full driving license and the flexibility to travel to different sites or work varied hours when needed.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proven experience designing and delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills, allowing you to manage multiple priorities smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
  • High levels of passion, resilience, and a collaborative approach to building relationships with colleagues, schools, and community partners.
  • A grounded understanding of recruitment policies or stakeholder management would be desirable
