About the role
- The HR & Recruitment Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the company’s human resources and talent acquisition strategies. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding to engagement, development, and retention. The HR & Recruitment Manager will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, ensuring that HR policies and practices support both business goals and a positive employee experience.
What you'll do
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition- Develop and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines using job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment tools.
- Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide insights to leadership.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth integration of new hires.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in compliance with labor laws.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and career development.
- Manage employee relations issues with discretion, fairness, and consistency.
- Support the rollout of performance reviews and feedback processes.
- Partner with leadership to identify training and development needs for the company.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reports.
- Manage HRIS and recruitment systems, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance/third-party providers (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field degree or HR certification preferred (preferred but not required).
- 3-5+ years of progressive HR and recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
