As a member of the HR Service Centre team, the Recruitment Coordinator delivers a professional, high‑quality recruitment service to colleagues and candidates across our UK factory sites. The role manages the end to end recruitment process from posting vacancies, arranging aptitude testing and interviews, creating offer paperwork and managing pre-employment clearances.

Please note, this role is on a 14 month FTC

A key element of the role is building strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing an excellent service through clear communication, collaboration, and timely engagement with both hiring managers and candidates.

  • Build proactive, collaborative relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to deliver an excellent end‑to‑end candidate experience.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including vacancy creation, advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination, assessment/testing, offer management, and accurate record keeping.

  • Post and promote vacancies across pladis careers, Indeed, and other approved employer branding platforms to attract high‑quality candidates.

  • Partner closely with site contacts and stakeholders to ensure a consistent, positive, and engaging experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Provide clear guidance and coaching to line managers on recruitment processes, best practices, and system usage within pladis.

  • Respond to candidate and hiring manager queries promptly and professionally, ensuring timely communication at every stage.

  • Support stakeholders to meet agreed responsibilities and recruitment timelines.

    Effectively use HR case management tools and Workday to support a smooth, compliant, and efficient recruitment process.

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date recruitment trackers for all live and closed vacancies, ensuring visibility and data integrity.

  • Drive performance against agreed recruitment KPIs and key metrics, including time‑to‑hire, candidate experience, and process efficiency.

  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using feedback and data insights to enhance recruitment processes and candidate experience.

 Essential

  • Excellent relationship building and customer service skills

  • Ability to remain effective and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

    Effective communicator

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and partners

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office

  • Solid attention to detail.

  • Focus on continuous improvement - ability to identify, share and raise suggestions

  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills

 

Desirable

  • Experience of working in recruitment or a comparable customer service, or operational role within a high‑volume environment.

  • Broad knowledge of Recruitment processes

  • Understanding of legislative changes that affect HR

  • User of SAP HR / Workday or other HR databases
