The Role

Recruiting is a key activity at XTX and as we continue to scale in 2025 and beyond, we are hiring for a recruitment coordinator who will ensure we have a seamless candidate experience and flawless recruiting journey. You will be the first point of contact for candidates, in an important, highly visible role.

Whilst the primary responsibility of the role is to own all recruitment coordination, we are seeking a candidate with the desire to develop their talent sourcing skillset; becoming an expert on the talent XTX hires and developing a range of methods and techniques to engage this talent globally.  

You will develop deep and meaningful relationships with global stakeholders across XTX and will be provided on the job training by our experienced recruiting team. As you grow in the role you can expect to learn advanced sourcing techniques, become highly proficient in qualifying candidates and develop a deep understanding of internal recruitment in a leading algorithmic trading firm. You will learn how to make data-driven decisions, and be able to analyse, improve and automate processes as appropriate.

Responsibilities

 Your primary responsibilities when you join will be to:

  • Support the recruitment team with all administrative activities.
  • Act as first point of contact for applicants and communicate with them in an efficient, clear, and polite manner.
  • Own the scheduling and smooth running of all recruitment related activities, including scheduling interviews, ensuring prompt start times, and collecting feedback.
  • Book candidate travel and accommodation when required.
  • Maintain and organize internal records related to recruitment.
  • Accurate data entry into Greenhouse (Applicant Tracking System).

Alongside the primary coordination duties, you will also:

  • Become an expert in the organisational structure, business practices and employee value proposition of XTX.
  • Shadow our recruitment team, learning how hires are delivered from start to finish.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our competitor landscape, how we compete for talent and what makes us unique.
  • You will leverage this foundation to identify potential hires from a diverse range of backgrounds and together with the recruitment team will create compelling personalised outreach. You will then guide them through our recruitment process, ensuring they are well prepared and informed.
  • You will learn to deeply qualify candidates, understanding their intrinsic motivations and ensuring they will be a good match for our firm.
  • You will help us improve all aspects of the candidate journey, ensuring that we continue to offer a best-in-class experience.


Essential Attributes

  • 1-3 years relevant experience in a recruitment or recruitment coordination role; you will understand the competitive landscape for talent in firms like XTX and the associated need for efficient, accurate and well-structured recruitment processes.
  • Excellent at the every-day; you execute accurately on the smallest tasks and provide a consistent, high level of service to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • It’s likely you’ll have worked in a fast-paced environment, independently prioritising your workload, and ensuring quality outcomes. Context switching won’t phase or derail you.
  • Excellent work ethic and ambition. You’ll have a demonstrable track record of proactive personal and professional development, constantly seeking new ways to improve and improve the team around you.
  • Naturally confident at building rapport with candidates and coworkers at all levels and from all backgrounds.
  • Proficient with a range of modern recruiting tools and platforms; we predominantly use Outlook, Office, Slack, Greenhouse, Asana for example.
  • Good ethical judgment, with the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • An understanding of software engineering, machine learning or financial markets recruitment is beneficial.
