Job Summary

Barings is seeking a Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team supporting a range of business units including Operations, Compliance, Risk, Fund Accounting and Finance. Reporting to the Senior Recruiter in London you will serve as a consultative partner responsible for executing talent acquisition strategies to directly deliver top talent across our Operations, Compliance, Risk, Fund Accounting and Finance teams. You will also be responsible for hiring contractor workers into these business units across EMEA and the USA.

Primary Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a trusted advisor on all hiring related matters.
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement intake through to offer management.
  • Directly attract and recruit top quality talent through all available sourcing tools e.g., job boards, social media platforms, advertising etc. with the aim of reducing agency spend.
  • Create talent pools/talent pipelines for upcoming roles.
  • Manage the attraction and onboarding of contractor workers for the EMEA and USA.
  • Proactively engage with candidates to promote a positive candidate experience, keeping them updated throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships internally in order to fully understand the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services and the Compensation teams to ensure they are consulted when required.
  • Collaborate with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to execute recruitment strategies that further our diversity goals.
  • Maintain KPI’s and provide a high level of data integrity within reporting.
  • Ensure all hiring personnel are regularly updated on the status of requisitions with accurate reporting.
  • Participate in projects where applicable.
  • Actively manage relationships with preferred suppliers, particularly for contractor roles.
  • Understand and adhere to current legislation to avoid legal challenges while serving as a consultant to all hiring personnel.
  • Proactively identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and products within the Talent Acquisition industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience recruiting in the asset management or financial services industry preferred, ideally gained within in-house roles.
  • Strong experience of effectively managing the complete recruitment lifecycle.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing innovative direct sourcing strategies i.e., talent pooling using LinkedIn, referral generation, job board usage etc.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering exemplary candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Ability to build rapport with leadership and internal clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience working within applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday and/or VNDLY.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a global corporate environment preferred.
  • Attention to detail, results oriented, and must be a collaborative team player.
