Job Responsibilities: 

To deliver end-to-end recruitment across a combination of campus/early careers hiring and experienced recruitment, working closely with hiring managers, external recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires strong operational delivery, stakeholder management and governance.

Key Accountabilities

Campus & Early Careers Recruitment

  • Plan and deliver Rothesay’s annual campus recruitment activity
  • Manage relationships with universities and external partners
  • Coordinate and attend campus events, careers fairs and engagement activities
  • Manage candidate screening and shortlisting processes
  • Design, coordinate and deliver assessment centres, including scheduling and logistics
  • Support hiring managers in the assessment and selection process
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting

Experienced Hire Recruitment

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment for experienced roles across the business
  • Partner with hiring managers to agree role requirements and recruitment approach
  • Manage external recruitment agencies, including briefings, shortlisting and performance oversight
  • Manage offer processes, including offer negotiation where appropriate
  • Ensure a consistent and professional candidate experience

Stakeholder, L&D and Process Management

  • Build effective working relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
  • Work in partnership with Learning & Development to support candidate engagement and onboarding, particularly for campus hires
  • Ensure an effective transition from recruitment into onboarding and early development programmes
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of recruitment and assessment processes
  • Ensure recruitment activity complies with internal governance and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition role
  • Experience delivering both campus/early careers recruitment and experienced hire recruitment
  • Experience working independently or within a small recruitment team
  • Strong experience managing recruitment agencies
  • Experience running assessment centres and recruitment events
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to operate effectively within a regulated environment

Desirable

  • Experience within financial services or a similarly regulated organisation
  • Experience partnering with Learning & Development and HR colleagues on offers and onboarding activity
  • Experience improving recruitment or assessment processes
