Recruiter at SpotHero: 

We are looking for a resourceful and proactive Recruiter to help grow and scale the SpotHero team! You have successfully recruited, sourced, or participated in recruiting an innovative, modern environment, excited to take on the challenge of a rapidly growing company. You are also passionate about creating a one-of-a-kind, heroic candidate experience that includes everyone. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, promoting SpotHero’s talent brand, and making sure we are attracting the best possible talent for all of our departments who are recruiting. You will have a huge impact on our team’s growth by also helping us drive our culture forward!

 The contract is for up to 6 months with the possibility for conversion to FT hire.


What will you do:

  • Own the full lifecycle of recruiting for assigned roles. You will manage all active outreach, sourcing, referrals, and talent branding to make sure your pipeline is successful!
  • Ensure a great and memorable candidate experience from start to finish. You enjoy asking for feedback and iterating along the way. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage clear expectations.
  • Collaborate and calibrate with both hiring managers and the recruiting team to ensure all interviewers are prepared, informed, and we’re finding the right top talent.
  • Track and develop relevant metrics for your talent pipeline and actively share your progress with the team. 
  • Create clear job descriptions, thoughtful kick-offs, and simplified interview plans in partnership with hiring managers. 
  • Manage your pipeline and roles in our applicant tracking system (we use Greenhouse) to ensure you’re hitting your checkpoints.
  • Create and present offer letters. Partner with the People Operations team for processing offers and handoff to onboarding
  • Proactively contribute to improving the recruiting process at SpotHero with real time feedback, as well as providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent SpotHero at external recruiting events and coordinate with the People team to organize meet-ups to promote SpotHero’s talent brand. 
  • Support other People Team projects as needed.

 

What you have:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a full-­cycle recruiter, sourcer, or talent acquisition specialist.
  • You are innately curious. You enjoy asking “why” to learn more about our business and how new talent can contribute to financial and organizational outcomes.
  • Well-­rounded experience in identification and engagement of the best possible top talent.
  • You have experience sourcing top talent through multiple creative channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, slack groups, meetups, and other non traditional job boards.
  • You know how to connect with talent and ask thoughtful questions to assess relevant skills and values alignment. 
  • You are a coach and a partner to hiring managers, helping them develop useful recruiting plans. 
  • You understand the importance of safeguarding data to preserve its integrity, reliability, and appropriate accessibility. 
  • You are an excellent communicator, have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and you’re highly organized.
  • Experience using an ATS – bonus if you know your way around Greenhouse!

  • Experience working in a midsize tech company 
  • Experience recruiting for Engineering, Finance, and Sales 


Seeking candidates in:

Compensation in Illinois:

  • Depending on your skillset and experience, you can expect your hourly rate to be between $40 - $45.
