Team/Role Overview

The Recovery and Resolution Lead Analyst who can help analyse, interpret and operationalise key aspects of the recovery and resolution requirements. The role will have a particular focus on the capabilities testing aspects of the Trading Activity Wind Down (TWD) and Resolvability Assessment Framework, ensuring that we maintain a best in class model. A key element will include working in partnership with the global Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team and understanding any areas of difference between US and UK RRP requirements.

What you’ll do

  •  Establish and co-ordinate the capabilities assurance programme for the UK.
  • Liaise with key RRP stakeholders across the functions and businesses to ensure RRP objectives are met.
  • Help to drive any day 2 requirements for the TWD programme.
  • Liaise with the International Team in the US and UK Risk colleagues.
  • Participate in global and regional initiatives as appropriate.
  • Keep up to date with current and new RRP regulations.

What we’ll need from you

  • Strong financial background with experience of entity stress testing.
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates should currently be working within a finance-orientated role.
  • Good understanding of the financial markets especially Derivatives.
  • Working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strength in financial analysis.
