We have an opportunity for an experience and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to move into a role will additional facility management responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off-site Building Manager.
You will deliver an exemplary tenant and visitor experience, understanding the importance of creating a community vibe in the building. You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this varied role.
Hours and salary
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
£31,473 pa
Key Responsibilities
Reception
- Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectation
- Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, providing exceptional customer service to all
- Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- Stock-check and re-order front of house supplies
- General administration, as required
Building management
- You will quickly establish yourself as ‘the face of the building’ and the go to person for questions / queries
- Work closely with the off-site Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log
- Work closely with security and contractors to ensure perfect
synergy to maintain both the Front of House standards and procedures - Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
- You have facilities management experience (desirable)
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask
- Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active
listening skills - Competent Microsoft Office / App user and willing to learn in house systems and processes
- This role is based on a business park, so access to your own transport is needed
