Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

What you need to know about this position:
The role is member of R&D Mondelēz WACAM Brand Value team with local work scope.You will be part of WACAM's largest category, Biscuits, where there will be many opportunities and challenges for you to develop.
Education / Certifications:
  • Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, and related disciplines.

Job specific requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity. R&D product/process development experience and knowledge of biscuits, gum and confectionery are strong plus.
  • Ability to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conduct appropriate testing, gather, and analyze data.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with low and medium complexity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams across multiple countries
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication skills
