AlphaGrep is seeking an exceptional Quantitative Developer to be part of our trading team. As a Quantitative Developer, you will design, develop, test, and deploy elegant software solutions for automated trading systems.
Your responsibilities may include any of the following:
- Maintain and improve complex trading algorithms in C++.
- Use Python to run quantitative research on the microstructure of the traded markets.
- Collaborate with other developers and with the traders.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on Software Development experience in C++
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in computer science, mathematics, financial engineering, and related fields from elite universities
- A strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
- Brilliant problem-solving abilities
- Exposure to network programming (TCP/IP), multi‐threaded applications, computational intelligence and real‐time programming
- A passion for new technologies and ideas
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- A working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Python
