Your future role within QRT:

You will be working in a constantly evolving environment as a desk-focused developer for the Quant Equity research team. As part of your role, you will

  • Design, develop, scale and maintain risk and performance analytics applications used by the business to manage portfolios and strategies
  • Build large-scale, inter-dependent data management and analytics pipelines
  • Develop and test quantitative performance metrics and reliable risk models in collaboration with the research team
  • Design interactive and web-optimized visualisation components 
  • Scale your applications horizontally by leveraging cloud technologies
  • Build solutions in a highly collaborative environment, where time to market is key and user feedback is immediate.
  • Take ownership of production processes to ensure constant alignment with business objectives
  • Continually expand and upgrade the team’s tech stack to accommodate the changing business needs and adapt to QRT’s evolving technical environment.

 

Your present skillset:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer
  • Python language expertise is a must
  • Experience with AWS or any cloud technology is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, set project priorities and work in a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a front-office context would be beneficial
