You will join the QRT Crypto desk, which focuses on developing and executing systematic trading strategies across centralised and decentralised markets. The team combines trading expertise with deep engineering capabilities to operate 24/7 across global venues. You will collaborate closely with traders and quantitative researchers to define and implement infrastructure for both traditional crypto markets and decentralised finance (DeFi) protocols. This role offers the opportunity to shape QRT’s participation in emerging on-chain ecosystems.
Your future role within QRT
- Build and enhance the quant technology stack powering systematic crypto trading
- Lead technical and architectural decisions related to DeFi protocol integration and DEX trading across a range of blockchains
- Develop front-office systems for algorithmic trading including model deployment pipelines, risk engines, and post-trade infrastructure
- Collaborate with Researchers and Traders to automate and scale 24/7 trading strategies
Your present skillset
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills; experience with C++ or Rust is a plus
- Deep understanding of real-time, scalable, and quantitative systems
- Experience with DeFi protocols and institutional crypto trading infrastructure
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
