We currently have a vacancy for a Quality & Test Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Analyse the system under testing and design the test strategy;
- Create, design and maintain test plans;
- Create, design and maintain test scripts and test data;
- Design and customize integration tests, identify issues that may jeopardize the correct functioning of the application;
- Contribute to defect tracking and correction procedures;
- Use, select and design testing tools to assess software quality;
- Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with organising test plans and procedures for white and black box testing at unit, module, system, and integration levels;
- Experience with selecting and developing integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements;
- Experience with testing in web technologies and Microsoft applications;
- Experience with automation testing frameworks;
- Experience with quality and risk management procedures;
- Excellent command of the English language.
