JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Inbound Coordinator’s shall be based at our 3PL DC in Jazlovice, Czech Republic. Their primary responsibilities include monitoring the quality of goods incoming to the DC from vendors or returns from customers, determining the validity of customer claims, and help define corrective action.

This role involves liaising with Kontoor regional quality integrity personnel in the production countries, Kontoor customer service, and personnel from the 3rd party logistics supplier operating our DC.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a risk-based approach for auditing incoming goods and review high risk products before distribution;
  • reject products that fail quality standards;
  • report on and analyze quality performance;
  • provide feedback to Regional Offices and manufacturers on quality performance & provide correlation results
  • Define commercial acceptance level and ranges for rejected products needing sorting/rework and liaise with external reworks companies;
  • evaluate customer claims for validity in relation to quality.
  • Host monthly stock reviews with colleague in Asia & vendors;
  • review Corrective Action Plans from vendors / sourcing offices vs quality of goods arriving in DC.
  • Collaborate with Kontoor Regional Offices, vendors and suppliers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
  • Contribute to the quality component of the Vendor Manual.
  • Provide guidance to the returns department operated by the 3PL supplier on an ad hoc basis.
  • Provide guidance to the VAS department operated by the 3PL supplier on an ad hoc basis.
  • Monitor 3PL VAS personnel performance to ensure correlation on an ad hoc basis.
